Providing education and support to deliver better outcomes for children and families in permanent care and adoption

KAIAN intercountry adoptee mentor program

Fostering relationships between young intercountry adoptees and adult intercountry adoptees

The 2016 KAIAN Melbourne Youth Mentorship Pilot Program aims to foster relationships between young intercountry adoptees aged 8 to 17 years old and adult intercountry adoptees aged 18 years and over. Though KAIAN was primarily formed for and by Korean adoptees, this program is open to all intercountry adoptees.  To visit KAIAN website for more information, click here.

Applications for parents of young adoptees are now open, download a Parent application form and submit to deborah@pcafamilies.org.au   Please note that availability of adult mentors is limited and program places will be prioritised according to mentor-to-mentee suitability (based on country of origin, gender, and interests).
